Modernizing California Elections: Insights from Marin County Registrar of Voters Natalie Adona

During this episode of Election Science Office Hours, Professor Alvarez's guest will be Natalie Adona, Registrar of Voters (ROV) for Marin County, California.
They will explore ROV Adona's leadership journey across multiple California jurisdictions and other organizations, reflecting on how her responsibilities, priorities, and perspectives have evolved throughout her career in election administration.
Natalie Adona is the ROV for Marin County, California. She is also the Secretary for the California Association of Clerks and Election Officials (CACEO) and a member of the County Recorders Association of California (CRAC). ROV Adona holds a Certified Elections and Registration Administrator (CERA) credential from Auburn University, a nationally recognized program tailored for election administrators. ROV Adona previously served as Clerk-Recorder/ROV in Nevada County, California and co-chaired the Ballot Design Advisory Committee established by the Secretary of State's office. ROV Adona previously served the City and County of San Francisco and the County of Alameda, California, where she conducted poll workers training programs. She has also worked in the nonprofit sector with election administrators and political scientists to improve elections and voting policies.
